I've been told before "I never blogged in my life - I wouldn't know what to do".  Funny thing is that the person who said that to me is a natural jibber-jabber. There are times where people simply look for an excuse not to sit down and write few word that matter, but other times they really don't know where to begin, so let me explain.

First, let me point out that I wouldn't call myself an expert on blogging. I just want to point out what I've observed over the past dozen years or so. What I have noticed is that there are mainly two kinds of blogs: informative and key centralized. Depending on what your premise is, you may want to write one more than the other, but you can also mix them in together if you are skillful enough. So let's talk about them a little more.

Informative blogs are very simple: you have an idea that you want to share with others - you write it out in your own words, try to give some details, but don't go too deep into specification. In fact, this. Log is an informative one. I am simply trying to explain the meaning of blogs, and I just write it out as if I was explaining it in my classroom. Such blogs don't have to demonstrate an idea per se. You could be describing how much fun you had at a restaurant that you went to last night, or tell your audience about the new book you have just read. Once again - in your own words.

Such blogs have a powerful effect on the audience as they are not mechanical and are easy to read. Key centralized blogs are different.

A good example of a key centralized blog is a press release. If you ever owned a small company or a website the odds are that you were advised to write one such article. They are repetitive and are written with search spiders on mind. Let's take our company for example. We specialize in web development for small companies, but let's narrow it down even more. We specialize in web development for Hair Salons. The keys in this statement would include "web development" and "hair salons", so that if you are an owner of a hair salon looking for a web developer, you will most likely use such words. So to begin, you can start of with a useful title like "Web Development and Website Hosting for Hair Salons".  Good so far.

So as you already may have noticed, web development and website hosting may go hand in hand and may seem repetitious, but they are good possible keywords that people may be searching for in the search engine. So even inside the article it may be common for such words to keep repeating: "web hosting", "websites", "small companies", "cheap hosting", "hair salons", over and over.

Once again, it you are skillful enough you could incorporate all these keywords into an informative blog. Remember one thing: getting audience to your blog is one thing, but retaining them is another. If you are writing strictly key centralized blogs, you may want to let the people know that so that they don't feel discouraged by the mechanical articles on your website.Writing Blogs That Matter
